Staff information

Lee Anne Zeigler,  TFA’s Executive Director and CEO is more than happy to meet with you to discuss the history of the organization and provide a view into future programs and projects of the organization and to introduce the donor to our Planned Giving Office.  It is our desire to serve our donors in the most up-to-date and beneficial manner.

Ways to Give

Gifts through an estate are sometimes the easiest ways to give, but also take planning to make sure the gifts are used fas they are intended.

These types of gifts are sometimes referred to as “stop-and-think” gifts because they require some planning and additional help from professional advisors. Unlike cash donations, they are typically made from assets in your estate rather than disposable income, and are gifted to charity upon your death.

The most common planned gift is a bequest in your will or living trust. Every person can be a philanthropist by naming an organization in their will or trust.  Other planned gifts include:

  • A charitable gift annuity
  • A charitable remainder trust
  • A charitable lead trust
  • Retirement plan assets
  • Life insurance policies

A misconception is that giving through your estate is only for the “wealthy.” The truth is, even people of modest means can make a difference through planning.

Gifts can also be made to the Tulsa Foundation for Architecture when a donor designates the Tulsa Foundation for Architecture as the beneficiary on their life insurance, IRA, or Pension Plan.
